AST pressure transducers feature high quality, all stainless steel, media
isolated pressure sensors suitable for measurement of liquids and gases.
The entire family of AST pressure transducers has been designed to satisfy
demanding price/performance requirements.
Sensor construction follows
AST's policy of elimination of all welds, silicone oil, internal o-rings
and leaks. Outputs of millivolts, voltage and current are available.
GAGE PRESSURE MEASUREMENT
The requirement for gage pressure measurement is satisfied by the 4000
through 4900 models. The 4300 and 4400 series carry explosion proof and
intrinsically safe ratings. Standard pressure ranges are up to 15,000 psi.
Ranges up to 43,000 psi are available on special order.

DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE
MEASUREMENT
For WET/WET Differential Pressure measurement, the compact size of
AST5000 is available for line pressures up to 1000 psi. Application of
full scale pressure to either port while the opposite is at zero will not
result in any damage. The AST5000 features on-board digital compensation
with high level of EMI/RFI protection-100V/m.
