The Pulsarmerit 80 combined level controller provides
non-contacting, maintenance-free level measurement and
indication in liquid and solids applications using the time of
flight, through air, ultrasound technique. It has a price
performance ratio that is unmatched.
The Pulsarmerit 80 units
have been designed to simply mount above the material being
measured. The integral 2" BSP nose thread allows a screw
fit or flange fit to tanks or mounting brackets. Connect a 24VDC
power supply and start the calibration process. A 3 digit
integral display within an IP65 lid gives easy calibration
without having to fill or empty the tank or silo being
monitored. Once calibration is complete close the lid. Simple as
that.
Two build configurations allow
control choices and flexibility on wiring preference.
A 2 wire loop powered
(the 80-2) unit gives a 4-20 mA output with a 20-30 VDC supply.
A 3 wire unit
(the 80-3) allows the 20-30 VDC supply to share the supply with
the 2 integral NPN open collector switched outputs. These
outputs may be set at points within the working span as high or
low level alarm functions.
Both the 2 wire and the 3 wire
units are suitable for use on liquids and solids level
measurement. The working range on liquids is 6m, while solids is
